Hello Champs!

I joined SOS today. It's great to have access to this resource and incredible pool of knowledge.

My project for the foreseeable future is the frigate Constitution, as launched in 1797. It is a scratch build, bar the internal bulwarks and limewood used for the first planking. This is only my second build so I need all the help I can get. Please follow along if you have any interest!

If you have any questions you can always email Dr. Carl Herzog and his curatorial staff at the USS Constitution museum. They have been extremely good about responding to questions in my experience. I would post his email address but it is a very bad idea to post an email address on a public site.

Thank you for the suggestion, is there a publically available email address for Dr. Herzog? I have a couple of questions I would love to ask.
