I think this is the best Bounty I have seen, great work. Understated but realistic colors and stains. Really like the deck colors what did you use? And also great photos- sharp details. I have bookmarked this for reference when I start my Caldercraft version. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you! For the deck I've used some very washed-down tea bags, let it dry and applied beewax.

Correct. Tea bags were almost dry..

Just found these 'INDEX' pages and this! Excellent, a fine model. I took my young son for a tour of the'Brando' version when it visited Torquay some years ago. It was all 'Pirates of the Caribbean' for him and he loved it. Sadly the ship was lost soon after.

I've been studying the copper plating on your Bounty and notice most of the plates are different shapes so I know its not kit supplied type and it looks more realistic to me. How did you do that?
