Trees in the Caribbean.

I have 2 types of fruit bearing trees in my backyard. Namely the Mango and Avocado.
These are constantly dropping big enough branches that I coukd cut into planking.
They have a wonderful color and figure.
Feasible?
Also I forgot about the coconut tree. They are like weeds here.

I am sure, that @Dave Stevens (Lumberyard) can give here also detailed information, if this timber could work for modeling
 
I make materials from woods that I can obtain here in Norway, I have found that Birch and Holly are the best varieties of those materials
I have made until now.
Spruce I also made some materials of, but this type of wood is too soft, I will use Spruce for
first layer in the planking of Endeavor.
Later I will get materials from my local sawmill, doing this work itself is time consuming, heavy and there is also a lot of waste, there is also a lot of unnecessary wear on tools, has already killed one machine.
