Trees in the Caribbean.

I have 2 types of fruit bearing trees in my backyard. Namely the Mango and Avocado.
These are constantly dropping big enough branches that I coukd cut into planking.
They have a wonderful color and figure.
Feasible?
Also I forgot about the coconut tree. They are like weeds here.

Avocado

Avocado trees have many of the characteristics found in softwoods and hardwoods, and both botanical sexes as well!

You'd have to season the fallen limbs- @Norway on this site has some tips on that.
Palm trees aren't really wood, more of a creepy mat of fibers. They make nice chainsaw Tiki carvings.

I am sure, that @Dave Stevens (Lumberyard) can give here also detailed information, if this timber could work for modeling

 

[Norway]

I make materials from woods that I can obtain here in Norway, I have found that Birch and Holly are the best varieties of those materials
I have made until now.
Spruce I also made some materials of, but this type of wood is too soft, I will use Spruce for
first layer in the planking of Endeavor.
Later I will get materials from my local sawmill, doing this work itself is time consuming, heavy and there is also a lot of waste, there is also a lot of unnecessary wear on tools, has already killed one machine.
