I see there are 2 versions available I don't know what the difference between the first edition and the revised edition

It is insane what some of these places ask for these books. I have a small collection of, but I will only buy one if reasonably priced. I noticed the same holds true for Books on French Vessels as well. I will not pay 10 times what a book cost unless it was a 1st edition from 1776!

I have no clue if there are any differences between the new books available and previous editions, but both new and used are available. One example of copies at reasonable prices follows and there are more on Amazon and other sources.
