Made a stand to work on the ship. The cradle Academy supplied is really bad.

Modified the stand. Works a lot better with the side supports.

It has been quite a few years since I have put together a plastic ship model. I realize now I should have painted evey thing before gluing the hull halves together. It is a learn curve again.

Yes, everytime you are doing plastic models at firtst everything should be trimmed. Then painted , glued together and then repainted because of the glue spots .

Looking good so far.

I always assemble in stages as much as possible then paint. Seems to make it easier me at least
