I have set up a new work space with some new tools for my next project which is on it's way and should be here by months end. I am going to build the HMS Victory in 1:75 scale.
The building board cannot fall off the desk as it locks over the desk hinges. And yes it does look a lot like the one sold online. I tried to find it but it is back ordered, so I built my own. Only took me an afternoon to build. It is also larger. Goes up to 1meter hull length.
I modified my harbor freight chop saw with a 24 inch bed , put a dedicated rotary tool in the drill press stand, bought a new disc sander , and modified the mini lathe to accept up to 15 inches of length for tapering masts. This will be so much better than trying to work in the living room and constantly putting everything away.
