Good afternoon. I purchased this kit two years ago. It's been sitting on the shelf since. This is kit #8. I'm currently building another ship, but I finally decided to start building this ship to break up what I'm currently working on. Thought this ship has been sitting on the shelf too long.

The kit has 3 small boxes with clear plastic lids. They hold all the small parts. The lids have holes in them. So... there are small parts scattered everywhere. Hopefully I still have them all!

My instructions manual only has about 90 pages. I've been reading through the other Bartolome builds on SOS and read that the manual has been updated. While reading through the build logs I saw that 'Pathfinder65 (Jan)' had the PDF's and had offered to another member. I wrote Jan and he supplied the PDF, which included the updated build instructions (194 pages), the parts listing and a 7 page PDF with the large sheet line drawings. thank you Jan.

The kit comes with the small 'ships boat', which is also a kit. Before starting on the ship, I'm going to build and paint the 'ships boat'. There are quite a few tiny parts, so may take me a while, Plus it will give me some practice using the airbrush to paint the boat. I only have a little experience with the airbrush, so looking forward to seeing what kind of job I can do on the boat before airbrushing the ship.

I might start the ships boat build tomorrow.

Welcome. Remember Lakedaisy, those ribs are so fragile even when paired and joined so handle with the utmost care. The whole little boat soon gets to be quite strong once the initial shape has been reached.
