Ever considered to scratch-build from card?

if it can be done for a 2 decker and look this, surely it's possible for a 1st rate. I like what you did on those ships, the quarter galleries and stern façade on the warship look great in polychrome. I'm not sure my computer has a good enough config for delftship tho.

Eh/// Doris makes her model from cards as well ... if I'm not mistaken... S.O.t.S - is that monster should be not less than 1st rate I guess... :)))
which She made God like!...Explosion
I would like to say - all in our hands! :)
Wish You All The Best!

ps
Ab style of making card models - is more "close" to me , if I could say that?
they are Warm!... but tooo much perfection makes me feel not so comfortable when making visualization/examine models...
this is pure my individual point of view...

Thank you very much gentlemen, I appreciate it.
Wishing you well. I am doing the third of the Midwest trio, and have done the HMS Alert in cardstock. I think I will go back to cardstock. The mess wooden modeling makes is incredible and 53 years ago I married a "no mess" nut who hates wooden model makers. She even bought me a battery powered vacuum cleaner, I think that was a hint.
Instead of doing models in the basement, as with wood, with card stock you can set up shop on the kitchen table, much more comfortable and much better lighting. Also the coffee pot is nearby on the stove!
So thank you for the articles on cardstock models. Until then, I had never heard of cardstock modeling.
