Bowsprit is assembled
I am doing the masts a little like the Endeavor. I like the way those look. I am waiting for some stain coming from Europe to finish the other wood parts.
This is the lower part of the foremast.

I do not know? The plans are showing thread. Chains seem better to me. I might try to correct this. Thank you for the input.

Can any one out there explain “reef points” on sails? What eras were they used? How many? How long? Placement,etc.?

Top picture is the port side. Lower picture is the starboard side. After tying 26 deadeyes I can see the last ones look a lot neater than the first ones. After all that effort I decided to re-do the first on the foremast.
The last few on the mizzenmast look so much better.
I have re-tied all the deadeyes on the foremast. It’s not perfect but a little better.
