2 weeks ago this kit went on sale at a local hobby store and I just could not resist. Even though I have 3 other ships on the build table I really liked the shape and the lines on this ship so put all the others on hold and jumped on this.

I've been working on this one for about 12 years between other models and client models as well as a job. I retired in Feb. and promised myself I'd finish her up this year. and drop her in a case. I bought the kit back in 1999 and although Katrina wiped us out, I was able to salvage about 90%...

After finishing the Trident model of HMS Alert ( really nice kit to build) I have decided to carry on with the Le Requin. Here are few pictures of where I got up to before deciding I needed more experience /practice building full ribbed models. Happy modelling all
