Duyfken (Little Dove in Dutch). A Dutch East Indies ship, built in 1595, supposedly the first European ship to sight Australia in 1606 under Willem Janszoon.

Kolderstok kit of the Duyfken arrived yesterday. I was temporarily allowed to uh and ah. Sneak peek into box. The packaging was exceptional. Kit is now on the shelf waiting for December 25. Build log start will probably be January or February. Jan
