Пернов PERNOV 1891 Russian torpedo boat 1892 1:50

Hello friends,

as my gun boat STERLYAD 1855 isn't being able to be build die to plan inconsistancies I decided to start to work on the reconstrution of the Пернов PERNOV 1891/92 an also in the yard Normand/LeHavre built torpedoboat a prototype for the Russian built 24 copies.

Here the sideview in 1:50 with a onehundertandfourty millimeters set square for the measurements (as I didn't find my 1¢-coins).

These detail plans are drawn with several imperial and metric gauges:

Length	42 m (137 ft 10 in)
Beam	4.5 m (14 ft 9 in)
Draught	2.06 m (6 ft 9 in)

So by scale she does become a 840mms length model.

I copied all the drawings and do have now all I do need: One yard space for MEERMIN and the smaller one for PERNOV 1892 so let's restarting this build for this summer!

The drawings are copied and now I have to deal with the lines plan:

As PERNOV is a French construction there are plenty of drawings and cut-throughts:

These are very helpfull in understanding the interieur of the early fish torpedo-boat:

Also there are scetches about the engine room and as always the very big mushroom vent:

Very detailled is the conning towers drawing:

Here a (experimental?) camouflage pattern with camo even on the funnels - still showing the early three mast configuration:

Here the complex railway system on deck for moving the fish torpedos into their lanchiers:

Also helpfully is the rough drawing of the engines top giving some ideas for the background of the skylights in the hatches or even showing a bit of the inside if the hatch is shown open.
