1/200 Gpm Bismark with laser cut frames

I have decided to ditch my other bismark build as I am not satisfied with quality and its costing me a fortune in knife blades.
And being laser cut it should go together a little bit easier.

not only difficult, but also it will be a very big model with 1,25 m length in scale 1:200

The easy part of the build is done and I have added more strengthers and cut up strips of card to fill in the area between the bulkheads

I built a 1/200 scale card model of the Iron Duke a few years ago. I fibreglassed and painted the hull, and added a timber deck and plastic fittings.

This looks like quite the adventure. At some point I’m building the AVRO Arrow CF-105. Will watch this build closely.

Started on covering the lower Hull the only pain is it needs two layers of glue as the card is so porous.

Sorry about the big jump in updates but I have lost a lot of pics but I have finished off the Hull and now started on the aft structure and started replacing some parts with the laser cut after market parts.

I have got fed up with plastic so it's back on the card and I am starting at stern going towards the bow adding all the smaller deck fittings.

I have just spent the afternoon finishing off the stern most of it was spent on turret Dora.

On with the next part yesterday I finished off turret ceaser and some more deck fittings. And my next objective is to start filling deck and walls in this area.

I have not been around lately due to losing my internet connection but i am back on this one after three years on shelf of doom i have been slowly working my way towards the stern and here is what i have been doing over the last few weeks
