I have received today my RC 1:50 scale Carvings. I bought them from ZHL Models
They look fantastic. Of course many will differ on that. For the most Purists they will not look fine at all. But for modelers like myself, with no Computer and CNC knowledge neither skills for hand carving these pieces, they are very nice !!!
I will post the link of Jeronimo's RC 1:50 where you can appreciate how they look finished by the hands of an expert modeler, like Jeronimo. I hope I can achieve similar results.
Nevertheless, I like them more than the Resin decorations included in the kit.
By the way, the RC kit I am referring is the one ZHL Model sells. I am not sure if they will fit in another's manufacturer RC kit.
At the end you have some pictures of the Resin decoration. Take into account that they are still under the vacuumed (or shrink heated) plastic cover.
One last comment. ZHL (Max) customer service is one of the best. The carvings do not includ the 8 Ram Heads Scuppers. I asked if they can be done. MAX talked to the manufacturer and said YES !!!. As a courtesy to myself they were free !!!.
The Ram heads scuppers are pictured over an old pice of wood that this summer I have to paint again. The cover of my electicity generator cabinet. I was afraid that a pice of paper can be blown and the scuppers will never be find again.
Pictures were taken over that cabinet outside at the sun.
A set of plans were included. And some pieces were in a bag. Those are pictured over one of the folded plans.
