This kit is my first build andi 42 years old. The keel was both warped and twisted. I clamped the keel in a effort to straighten it. I installed the bulkheads, using both Ca and Titebond. After I unclamped the keel I found that the tops of the bulkheads were not all level. Using acetone and later heat resulted in the keel delaminating in several places. I made repairs as well as I was able. Now on pre fitting the keel I have a gap at the front. The bow is blocked solid up to the line on attached photos so I can't plane all the gap out without going past the fist bulkhead. I have considered filling the gap and second planking over the repair. Or a combination of planing and filling.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Please disregard this message.the plywood bulwarks started delaminating when I used the plank bender. I proceeded in the only logical manner. I will post photos once I have them installed.
