Here Is A Build Log I got Started This Is My Second Rodeo with This kit I Inherited 2 Of These War Time Boucher And Lewis Models From My Late Father He Was A collector and Builder My Dad bought 2 Of these Kit and Many Others and For some reason i Can not figure Out He Stored these Kits One Day when I Came home from Leave I seen his collections I ask him why Hasen,t He attacked the kits He told Me they Are yours dont Ever sell Them they are worth Their weight In Gold He was Getting Old thats My Story As you Can see This ancient Like Myself I am Starting to Get Back On the build she Is At the Primer Stage. turning too On the ESSO TRENTON Starting to Shape up the hull all of the Filler has Been Removed and the model Is Primed Lewtting dry Next i Will Mark "and drill Out all Port Holes. firstly the hull will be finished first After The Hulls Port holes Have been drilled. the Paint Schedule Is that Of 1941 Hull Painted Gray Instead Of black By 1941 Ithe Maritime commission Had all Merchantmen Painted wartime gray The Decks are Painted Deck blue Gray Instead O(f Red Oxide Red All superstructures and Deck houses were Painted Wartime gray the funnel Was Painted Smoke blue With white Band amnd Red Letters ESSO When WW11 Was underway This Oiler was Obtained By the Us Navy for The Plans Of converting her To A Escort Carrier As Known As the USS SAGAMON. Alot Of C3 And C2 Merchantmen were Used as Jeep Carriers. On By Pictured first build It Was Painted Wartime Gray wityh DeckBlue Gray Decks No Steamship Bands At This build Mr. gi8mble wanted It to Be Painted inted It Wartime gray The Li8ghting On their Camera Made It A Light Navy Gray It was Painted a little Darker. Not muchy Progress On the hull The Hull Is Primed when dry I will Mark Out and Drill Out All Portholes At the Stern Once the hull Is Painted the build willl go together quicker all though no foot Race. thjank ?you for all your views and comments Boats
