Dear Donnie, as we say usually "it's a dirty work, but someone must do it as well" (heartfelt thanks to do it for all of us, you're our Hero).
Dear friends and collegues, forgive my English, learned in the yards in half the world!
I build models for about fifty years (of course I started with Airfix pouches and similar toward I was five); I came to the wooden ships nearly thirty years ago during my service in the Navy, and after a break of 24 years of yards and family life (in which I have only built small tanks and aircrafts), three years ago I back to my passion, thanks to a gift from my father (that I called the Captain, who died two years ago). My ship modeling career is on the bottom of this post.
I hope I can give you at least one half of what, I'm sure, I will receive from you!
Fair winds to all,
Ciao, Laerte
