Hi all. Having been a lurker for a good while now, I thought it polite to pop in and introduce myself. My name is Tim, I'm from Johannesburg but have been working in London for a good few years now. When the pandemic hit and everyone had to work from home, my team proved that an office was not needed anymore as remote work was more efficient. That gave me the opportunity to sell up and get as far away from London as I possibly could. In my case, Lincolnshire. What a difference. Big sky, big hearted people and big land. I'm here to stay. Zoom and Teams are my friend.
So far my modelling experience amounts to a completed Pavel Nikitin Capt John Smith's Shallop and half of a Vanguard Sherbourne. I've also just started a Model Shipways Muscongus Bay Lobster Smack after watching Hillbilly Modeller doing one on You Tube. With a model that bad, if you can complete it, you can complete anything. That was my theory anyway.
Also, on the shelf currently sits a Model Shipways Bounty Boat and a USF Confederacy, an AL Hermione and an Amati (Victory Models) Granado. Once these are done and presuming I'm still under a century old, I want to buy a Vanguard Harpy and finally, the ultimate (for me), Caldercraft Victory.

So, there you go. That's me.
