Hey everyone! So I’m working on the Occre Bounty model, and I’ve reached the point of doing (or not doing) sails. This is my 4th model, but only my second large ship.

Obviously I’ve left it a bit late for putting sails on, having already done most of the rigging, so I’m thinking I’m going to go without sails. But if I do that, I’m going to have all these left over thingies (deadeyes?) just hanging there, and deck points with no ropes attached that won’t look great either.
So basically, I’d love any advice on how to do “no sails”, but still make it look decently “busy” in terms of the rest of the rigging.

Important note: I’m not overly concerned about being ‘accurate’ for this model - I added this little guy for a laugh, so my wife has suggested I should replace the terrible display base it came with with a full like kraken coming up and holding the ship because Mum kraken is looking for her baby
And I think the kraken display base will work better with no sails anyway!
