I spent over 800 hours building the legendary Robert E. Lee steamboat model from Amati, one of the most famous riverboats in American history. In this video, I take you through the full build journey, the challenges, and the small details that pushed my skills to the limit. Along the way, we also dive into the incredible story behind the real ship, from its luxury and speed… to the legendary 1870 race that earned it the title “Monarch of the Mississippi.”

Always nice to see the build in your video and finished model of another Robt. E. Lee, Edward. You made a very nice example of this legendary paddle steamer. And indeed, it’s a challenging model to build, specifically the railings with all uprights.
Regards, Peter

Thank you for your kind words, Peter. Your Robert E. Lee scratch build was epic. It was incredibly inspiring and satisfying to follow your build posts.
