A few photos of progress to date.
Won’t be a build log, but hopefully a photographic journey of progress.

Great progress, and she is really taking the 'pintas' (shape) ;) . Is this the scratch-build or the kit?

Nice work, I made all three but in reverse order, Santa Maria, La Pinta, La Nina.they were lots of fun building. Great work,
Bobby K.

Baby steps continue….some deck furniture dry fit on deck, and the anchor windlass drying after a soak in some sapele wood dye to give some colour…will need a second dunking.

My dremel brads arrived…had been waiting for the 5mm to finish off the mast mounts.
After drilling ….remembered reading a post re the false deck being drilled for the sister ship Niña- which I have built- stating the Pinta mast locations are different….which they are and clearly evident on the 1:1 printed plans with the kit.
I had adjusted for the stern mast but not the forehead and main.
Luckily, I suppose, the main mast “ wrong” hole will be hidden by the cargo hold framing and boards.
Will just need a patch fix for the forehead.
At least I eventually remembered…doh!!image.jpgIMG_0507.jpegIMG_0508.jpeg
