Dave, Thanks for these posts. I am currently building a model of the Lake Freighter Benjamin Noble built at Am Ship’s Wyandotte plant in 1909 as hull 178. She was intended to haul pulpwood. Badly overload with a heavy cargo of railroad rails, she was lost with all hands off Minnesota’s North Shore in April of 1914.

I have had I build log going on another forum. I will resume it on Ships of Scale in the near future.

Although I am using the original builders’ plan set, your catalog is particularly helpful with photos of fittings located on the drawings but not shown in detail.
