.. and the keel?

And by the way: You have also to differ netween the term
"frame" - which is the real frame of the real ship
and
"bulkhead" - which means these false wooden boards we use for building a POB-model
And add to this the station lines are not necessarily an indication of the frame location as mentioned earlier. For argument sake allow that the frames will land on station lines (as well as between if fully framed.) The easiest thing is to make the bulkheads or frames using the station lines on the body plan, then place them accordingly on the keel at the appropriate station.
Start with the original body plan drawing

Typical frame drawing - Note that there were paired frames, 4 forward and 4 aft, to be placed at station 4 thus the ID on the drawing below

Drawing for POB showing station lines would be much simpler and used for locating the bulkheads on the keel

Very good additional explanation ! Many Thanks Allan

The drawing of Charles w Morgan shows the correct placing.
In the subject body plan, all stations are equally spaced, but notice the numbers:

0, 1/2, 1. 1 1/2, 2, 3….. 8, 8 1/2, 9, 9 1/2, 10
The half stations should be placed halfway between the full numbered ones.
