You are not alone in building the same vessel more than once.
Do you or does any member know if Bounty carried a binnacle? I assume she did, and the reason I ask is that the wheel appears to be too close to the mizzen mast to place one but it may just be the angle of the photos. Looking at the November 1787contemporary plans of Bounty, as fitted at Deptford for her now famous voyage, there was 24 inches (1/2" at 1:48) between the wheel and the mast so there was plenty of room as the binnacles were typically no more than 18 inches fore and aft.
