Artesania latina release HMS VICTORY CROSS SECTION.

Hello Allan,
After my vacation I will start with the cross-section and hope that I am not too clumsy and can write a great post in the forum. Attached is the cross-section plan for the Victory from 1765
Regards
Günter

Be carefull with the drawing, you are showing. This drawing is a reconstruction from the 19th century. At the RMG I only know one drawing which is showing the original design from 1759.

This is a section of the original plan that I bought. What is wrong with it? Please answer ...

Thank you very much...

Did you have to pay any import taxes/duty?
Hi Robster

Yes I did, from memory I got an invoice from FedEx a few weeks after delivery. It wasn’t as much as I anticipated though compared to what I used to pay on some plastic kits I purchased from Japan when I had to pay customs before they would release the item for delivery

I just received from AL this cross section gift pack kit ( paints, lights, figures, rivet making tool and acrylic display case) took just over two weeks to receive (had delays in US customs due to no documentation being sent with package). Haven’t received the duty fees and taxes yet, from FedEx. Will post tax totals when I receive the notice

There is nothing wrong. The drawing shows the Victory as built in her 18th century appearance and not the 1803 version after her rebuilt, which the AL kit is showing. There are differences between both versions

Yes, you're right. The version is different. I would also like to build the Victory before the conversion. In other words, before her major conversion in 1803 ... I hope I succeed ... Thanks for the comment.:)Thumbsup
