Hi My Name is Neil. I reside in Tasmania .Australia. Iam 60 years old. When I was young I made many plastic kits.Mainly WW2 planes & ships. As I am older now I have revisited this and with the internet I have located and remade my memories. so to speak. A friend of my wife's gave me an old ship she found at a garage sale.It looked like a spanish galleon. It was a bit of a wreck as the masts were all snapped and the shrouds were disconnected. With some research I have ascertained that my ship is an Artesania Latina - San Giovanni Battista -1688 - ref 22617 - Scale 1:50. The Hull ,decking etc seems complete & in quite good shape considering. I have repaired the masts.Redone the shrouds & ratlines. With some repainting it is coming up quite well. However I have reached a bit of a stalemate. I have no sails, yards or running rigging. Iam happy to construct these but I have no instructions whatsoever. I have gone to the Artesania Latina Website-(Old instructions section ) & unfortunately they are not listed. Could anyone help me with this please or give me some suggestions on how to rectify my issue as I really would like to finish this project.
Many Thanks

Fantastic repair work! The San Giovanni Battista kit is old and perhaps one of our members has the plans somewhere. Rigging for a Spanish galleon could be figured out using information from a similar galleon model, such as Artesania Latina's San Francisco II or San Juan (below). You would have to create your own plans for belaying, which pin is used for which line, but the types of lines you need to rig are almost the same.

also from my side a warm welcome here on board of our forum

You're tackling a repair that I would not. I find it easier for me to complete my work than repairing someone elses. I'll pull up a chair and watch what you do. Keep us posted.
