it is kind of refreshing to see different plans for modeling subjects besides the same stuff over and over. English war ship with lots of guns and carvings all start looking the same. A well-crafted schooner showing off fine woodworking skills, work boats etc there are so many other ships and boats to choose from

I admit I enjoy schooner builds as much as fighting ships and the majority of my builds for clients have been schooners. MUCH easier and lots of super drawings out there from the Library of Congress as well as other sources. One example of the set for Ernestina.
