If it's none of my business, just say so, but I'm just curious here. Every one of your posts since you joined the forum 2 years ago has been to sell something (or the occasional offer of something free). Are you a ship modeler trying to thin your stash? Do you have a hobby business with a web site? Are you an estate liquidator? Perhaps you should have a vendor link on the home page of SoS. Just curious.

Hi Blackhole, Thanks for posting, the flags look nice. Maybe it's just me, but I find cloth flags to be over scaled in thickness and have a hard time getting them to hang naturally as a result, compared to using silk span. I have no desire to take away from your business but silk span flags cost about 5 cents to print on a home computer in any scale you want. Would you consider making and offering silk span flags in various scales? They can be printed to order so you would not have to have inventory. Just a thought. :) The below is a silk span flag in 1:48.

Fair question. I am both a ship modeler and have a hobby business with a website. I have been building models since the early 1970's, mostly RC models of every type imaginable with some static thrown in here and there. I also have a website that caters to the RC community and someday when I have some spare time I plan to contact the administrators here and get a vendor link posted. For my personal ship modeler side I have been collecting kits and supplies for 50+ years. After having 5 surgeries for cancer in 2024 and the knowledge that it is almost guaranteed to return in the near future I have realized that I have more kits and supplies then there is ever any chance of needing, using so as time allows I am thinning my personal collection. Hope this helps

Allan, as you can see from the labeling on the package, I did not make these flags. They were made by Model Shipways. I am not a flag manufacturer.

So sorry to hear of your health issues. Here's wishing that the New Year brings new hope, new treatments and many more years of modeling!

A vendor badge here would probably be good for you. Then you could occasionally post about anything new in your stock, but still give folks the ability to peruse your entire inventory.

Happy New Year!
