I visited the Australian National Maritime Museum which has the somewhat quirky name of Museaum. It is located in Sydney in an area called Darling Harbour close to CBD.
There is a replica of the HMB Endeavour which was a highlight for me.
There are many other full scale vessels to board including HMAS Vampire, a destroyer, and HMAS Onslow a submarine, amongst others.

The buildings have many interesting exhibits and some nice models. There was a desk manned by volunteers who were doing model ship construction, on the day it was cardstock, but others included the Vanguard model of the Swiift.

The gift shop had some fabricated models for sale which were disappointing in their standard and authenticity, and very overpriced.

If anyone is visiting Sydney Australia,it is definitely worth a visit.

Thanks for showing the photos. It's a little far from me but I would like to visit it one day. The Endevour replica is impressive and the photos of the rigging are very interesting.

I went around those ships a few years ago, no camera, so thanks for posting this reminder. I particularly remember going around the sub; anyone who served on submarines of that era is something special.
