So back from where we finshed, now it's time to make the stern:
First to sand off the carbon black of the stern timbers, and glue them on with the gunport lower sill in the middle

Then the plank at the back, after gluing, cut off the extra length that was given on the two sides.

Sadly a few images were lost while transfering, so that's all the photos for the stern building. However later stages there were many more photos showing this section.

Moving on to the front gunport, first I made the sides of the gunport, the bottom and the back needs to be sanded to a angle so that these two parts can fit in parallel and the back have a slope that fits the run of the wales.



Then the upper sill and the parts on the sides. Here there was a error made on the production file, the two parts on the sides should be 2mm instead of 4mm that they currently are, so please reshape them to 2mm if the thicknees is not correct on the kit that you have.

Then we have the basic hull ready. I have added a line on the wale, because they were too thin I have chosen not to mold them. It's totally optional but I think it looks nice with it. The lines will be added on later versions of the kit.

For this build, I have decided to make it the same fasion as the museum build, so that the hull is fully black, so I prepared to paint it. This decision (of paiting it now) was later proven to be not very wise, but we will talk about that later on.

Adding the rails, these should be added before the printing, so that I don't need to cover the deck and do the printing all over again.

And the rudder, which should also be added earlier. I accedentally placed the rudder hinges a bit high on the hull, so I have to add a part at the bottom of the rudder.
