To all.

This Aztek air compressor ended up sitting on a shelf while waiting on me to start learning to use an air brush. I never took the step and as a result, I now have a brand new (never opened) 20 year old hobby air compressor. As it's never been opened I'm going to assume it's in new condition.

I would like to give this to someone who would like a new air compressor. If anyone is interested please DM me. I live in New Castle, Indiana and would like to hand this off to someone who wants it. It's kind of heavy and I don't know what shipping would cost but if you want it shipped you will need to cover the charges for it.

Used they are selling for $100 to $150. New (they are discontinued but some are still available) they are selling for around $250 to $275. Normally they sold for about $400. So I will assume it is worth shipping charges if someone wants it.

Again, it is free and has never been opened to whoever DM's me first

A very nice offer but you don’t need to learn the ins and outs of using an air brush for this air compressor to be useful. Look up a Badger paint sprayer or perhaps it’s called a spray gun on Amazon or whatever similar site that you like to use. They usually sell for less than $25. A jar of paint screws into it and there’s just an on and off button that you push. It is probably good for 90 percent of ship model jobs. I used one for many years before buying a Badger 350 model airbrush. I’m thinking of buying another Badger Paint Sprayer as neuropathy in my hands makes juggling the air brush hard.

To be honest, as of last year I bought the very same thing along with a collapsible spray booth to try out. It is easier and will be fun to try. I just want to find a home for this nice compressor. I am dealing with hand shake as I've gotten older. I'm changing what models I build to step away from rigging heavy models to simpler above the hull kits like the armed launch I am building now from Mantua model group.
