My best wishes for your quick recovery, Ted.
Hopefully your do not have to stay there for a long time.

Prajem ti skoré uzdravenie. Dúfam, že pôjdeš len potešiť sestričky a potom sa hneď vrátiš.

Hi Ted, happy to meet you. Been through 2 major surgeries.

Hang in there, probably will be good times, and not so good times. Hope you can enjoy when it is good.

The “like” button does not express my thoughts. Hoping that this hospital stay will be brief and effective so that you can return home.

It's all I can do not to cuss out the incompetent books providing my medical care at this facility.
I'm not going back

Never give up! You are in control of your medical care. If you sense that something isn't right, get another opinion. Once a doc forms a diagnostic opinion and treatment plan, it's very hard for them to "take a second look" at their own conclusions. Sometimes "two heads are better than one." It's not that the doctor is incompetent. It's just human nature. My wife just went through this over the last three years. The first doc told her she just had vertigo and it would clear up in a few months. After two plus years of misery, the second doc said, no, you've got high blood pressure and a very serious hiatal hernia. Three and a half hours of robotic-assisted surgery and six months of recovery and she's good as new. If they hadn't gotten it right when they did, she'd be pushing up the daisies right now.
