Back in th hospital

Best wishes Ted and yes COPD can be very frustrating. I quit smoking 41 years ago and was afraid that I had damaged my lungs. So I joined a marathon training team and then ran three straight Houston marathons. I'm so glad I quit when I did. I trust you will start feeling better after your treatments are over. I'm thinking of you buddy and take care. Magic Mike

Finally some really good news. I was admitted to the West Los Angeles VA Hospital and accepted in the acute rehabilitation unit. I will be getting world class physical therapy for 3 to 4 hours a day sixxdays a week to help me regain my strength and general well being. Two weeks plus and I should be in a lot better shape.

Te response to my post is overwhelming. I thank all of you. I never smoked until I was in the military. Cigarettes were included in our chow fo free. We figured, what the hell, we are probably going to die this afternoon anyway. Might as well have a smoke. And I’m from the generation where ads on the tv proclaimed that Newport’s were the healthiest choice for pregnant women. Clearly one of the poorest decisions I’ve made in life.
Thank youGreat news Ted! My prayers are with you!
