Good evening, my friends.
It is typical in Spain to enjoy appetizers based on beer and seasoned olives, in this case, of the Gordal Sevillana variety. The pit or stone has a woody nature and can be used in modeling to make miniature barrels. Simply turn the almond-shaped stone slightly on a lathe and simulate the staves using string or black wire—the result is excellent.
I hope you like it.

No problem, the admins can delete the second thread.
But I think that your internet connection is not optimal. So when you press the button "post tread" you must wait and not press a second time. In that case when the connection is slow it makes an extra thread because the server received the the thread twice from your computer. Just wait a moment and give the system some time after you hit that button the first time. It happens sometimes to me too when I want to go fast and the technology need more time. :)

Back to the subject. Olive stones are great material to use for carving. You need the bigger stones. In the Netherlands you can only get small olives with small stones. The big ones are rare.
Another great thing to use is tagua nuts, these are like Ivory

Well, now you have an excuse to plan a little trip to Spain. ThumbsupROTF
