Say hello to my little friend. It's the Mikita 9911KX1 3"x18" variable speed belt sander, with a 7 1/4 inch sanding face. So for those interested here's my review.
This unit can be clamped upside down with the dogs that come with your work bench. The filter bag works reasonably well but not great. I connect my shop vac to do a better job of dust extraction as I work indoors. The Admiral is quick to point out dust infiltration and has threatened the cat o nine tails a few times. I can scribe planks then sand them to proper fit in less time than using a sanding block and plane. Great for compound shapes. Overall I would recommend this unit for any hobbyist.
