Just a quick update. I ordered the 2.5x and 3x from AliExpress to test and I have to say that they are actually very good Thumbs-Up

I paid the princely sum of £3.49 delivered and they arrived in just over a week. The lenses are coated, which surprised me, so they do not suffer with reflections or distortions like my other pair. The fact that they fit neatly over my prescription glasses helps immensely since I do not get the imbalance between my left and right eye.

Having a light would have been nice, but I have plenty of ways to light-up the model, the main thing is that they don't catch the rigging!
