Blade holder. Medical? Where to get a decent one.

Does anyone know where I can get a decent quality blade holder of a type shown on attached pictures? It’s second attempt to get one. One I got on Amazon. Another from AliExpress. You can see what I am getting. Both were unusable. It cannot even hold a blade straight. Looks like it was made by feet instead of by hands.

I agree with @neilm. Just be careful when selecting the proper size handle. Their blades are designed for different blade sizes.

You have to buy these? I was lucky to work Medical Supply at our base hospital and got the ER guys to save the disposable sets of blades and tools, and had them re-sterilized and kept them for use. Blades are a different story all together.

I use Swann Morton number three handle and various types of blades (#3) that fit, I purchase the blades from a medical supply outlet as they are superbly sharper than those purchased from other standard sellers. I have many cuts to prove that. cheers.

I have a number of Haemostats ex the medical centres. They are invaluable when used as helping hands for rigging.

We used to call the disposable kit tools "Pakistani Stainless" instead of normal term, as most kits had tools made in Pakistan, which I was told didn't have coatings needed for repeated sterilization processing of normal surgical grade tools.

Another fine source of tools would fit Doc K's back yard, as we got the broken dental picks which help clean slots in may parts.

Another nice thing about the flat holder like the Swann Morton and the blades being better quality is that it does not roll off the bench and stick in your leg.
