Several hundred hours into the bluenose. Hull and deck complete. Now starting deck structures. Used a little artistic license for the reddish trim. It is a custom blend of water based pigments that pleased my eye. The cabin top is EZ butcher block stain, easy to work with and a nice color. I tried minwax cherry, oak, expresso, and golden oak. EZ did not blotch the surface like the minwax stains, even with preconditioning.
