"Bolts" in Step 37, Stay Plates for Norwegian Sailing Pram

Greetings!

I am working on the Norwegian Sailing Pram and Step 37 calls for "bolts" to secure the chain plates (and are referenced later in the instructions as well). However, the only things that seem to be "bolts" are the 16 brads that came with the kit, and they don't look like the pictures and some of the build log examples I've seen.

So, what am I supposed to be using?

Thanks!

Jon

Made an executive decision lacking better information: used the thin brass rod cut to quite short bits. I tried doming the ends, but lack any real proper means of accomplishing that, so left them "snipped" and that will have to do.

I did do a little searching for 22 gauge wire brads but came up only finding 23 gauge pins (headless). The 16 nails that came with the kit are just quite a bit too large. Not sure what they're used for as the manual doesn't seem to call them out (I may not have gotten to that particular step, if any).

back in the day "bolts" were not like the threaded bolt with a nut we think of today. A bolt was an iron rod held in place with a key or clench ring
