Back in August I managed to burn out the motor on my Proxxon table saw. A total own goal: I tried to cut a sheet of plastic, the blade jammed and a cloud of smoke appeared before I could hit the off button. The workshop smelled of motor oxide for a week.
I tried to source a new motor in the UK but failed: "out of stock". Perhaps I am not the only Brit to be an idiot. I eventually managed to source one from Germany, fitted it, wired it but still not working. I seem to have burned out the control board as well. This took longer to replace: everywhere "out of stock" A month on my replacement board arrived and my saw is working again. An expensive error.

i know what you have gone through the old pushing small tools to the max trying to do big jobs. First you blame the tool then you cuss a bit and kick to tool to the curb. The reality is these small hobby tools are not designed for heavy work or cutting 200 liners feet of framing or planking stock. These are light duty tool
