I started by dismantling the falseboard planking and replacing the valances. The white painted strip needs replacing, as does the planking in these areas.
I brought out the line of the stern countersink (in the kit it was offered as a joint of two elements and had an angle) and made it smooth.
Replaced the barkhouts with black hornbeam slats and started sheathing the bulwarks. Inside is green hornbeam, outside is black hornbeam and holly. Yes, I found this tree in our country. Thanks to Paul for showing in his construction what it looks like
Glued the deck. It is laser cut from pear wood, 0.5 mm thick. Why is it like this? The deck from the kit, as you can see in the first post, was already glued, I couldn't tear it off, so I used this approach.
