I just found this forum, so this is my first post. I purchased this a few months ago from a www.hobbyterra.com, it is produced by ex USSR manufacturers – it's very complete and very detailed, all parts are laser cut – even the outside hull planking. It has instructions in Russian, but I'm a little rusty so I'll refer to the picture diagrams and the English instructions. When it's finished it will be 590 mm long, by 440 mm high and 220 mm wide. So here are some pictures:

G'day Paul, you have done a great job on her, looks like a very nicely designed kit, and some very good photos you have taken, have fun and enjoy,

best regards John.

Hi Paul,
Welcome to our forum :text-welcomewave: you have a very very nice looking ship. Your workmanship is top notch. I will continue to watch your build with pleasure. Thank you for sharing.

Incredible and very clean - I love the wood tone colors.

The overall impression is realy good of this model. Good built.
One question: are belaying pins made out of metal?
Maybe think about to paint or blackening them, with the shiny surface they are looking a little bit unreal....

Hi Paul,

Very nice work I like the deck very much which look slightly weathered, did you do this yourselve or was it like this in the kit.
I am currently also building a boat from master korabel for my model of the Friesland and I liked the detailing of these kits.

Regs Maarten
