Hello all, i begun a new ship which is as the title say a bucaneer.
I post dome pictures but is the very beginning of the work, hope the cats this time will not destroy the model like the last time.
The last two pictures are the nails filed down with my dremel

Hello after a medium long time( i was working on the boat) so i got some pictures for the prosecution of the model.
First of all may not seem important but i found a new glue which is better for planking instead of the one i used to use before (bindan), i'll post the photos maybe lot of you know from before but for me was a discovery.

Hi all i'm arrived on the helm and i don't wanna make the sames mistakes i did in the other boat, i have a question: which kind of glue are you using for glueing the hinges of the helm? i used before a bicomponent glue but it doesen't work fine, i tried as well with attack super fast glue but it doesen't work on wood and metal so i'm bit stuck. If anyone could give me a clue i will appreciate

Hello Uwek, thanks a lot for the best, i had very little time to use the forum and as well internet (which is not my best place i don't even have fb or other socials )

:) I got here some photos of my work till now, was some days to wish to post it and you gave me the will of do it (thanks)

Hello to all, now for me is time for the bee season (i'm a beekeeper) so i got less time to go on in my model but i post the upgrade of the bucaneer ( i don't have photos for the bausprit which is on building )
anyway those are the photos hope those will help some as for me helped the logs for my first model which is the Gjoa

waiting for your builds i post some pics of my work (which is still in progress). I hope those pic could be useful for some reason to someone.
I'd some issue putting on the ships the masts just because the holes are little bit stretched and the mast must be sand papered to fit inside.
Other question i have now: i didn't use at all a protective paint just some linen oil, it is best to use as well a protective or not?
I think to buy a plexiglass box for the Bucaneer so if it is not necessary i pass over it. If not i have to pay attention when i pass near the blocks holes.

Hello all after a bit i'm near to finiosh the bucaneer but here are the problem (at least for me) i post the photos of my problem. This is step H and i don't understand how J33 and J36 works. I mean: should i put the sails in this step? as i draw the arrows it seems to have to put the sails but i'm not sure because in the next step it show me the sails marked with the letter V and in the first photo i don't see any V around
The second picture show me where to put cable i've seen on internet they add some little ring on deck to make the wire pass through and get back. Could this be a possibility to using for wiring J33 and J36? The last picture show the sails marked with the letter V and how to put.

ok i solved the arcane issue.
I have to do first all the red marked lines and then the blue marked ones. The ropes are the first to be done and then the sails
