Calculating mast size (and possibly location)

AllenKP69 my interest’s cross with your expertise again, thankfully for me but not sure from your perspective!

I have a sail plan for my Brigantine, a Packet Ship called Seagull dated 1835 ish original plan 1829/1830 as a three masted vessel, subsequently remodelled as a Brigantine. I think I have posted the sail plan already. It has a scale and from this I have scaled the mast lengths as:-

Length of deck 95’ and beam 26’ (for reference)

Keel to very top of main mast =115’
Keel to very to of Fore mast =103’- 6”

Can you give me any guidance as to whether these are correct I cannot get to these measurements from the formulae.

Sorry Seagull, all the scantlings I have are for English warships so possibly of little use. IF it turns out that they are complimentary, you can use the formulas in James Lees' The Masting and Rigging of English Ships of War 1625-1860 for the mast diameters and lengths as well as yard sizes and rigging line sizes. Maybe contact RMG which has the drawings you probably have to see if this idea would be a good one or not.
