Can I board your ship, sirs?

Thanks Boatman! Can I ask what's the best glue or adhesive you use for paper models? I use Elmer's Craft Glue but it does not dry fast enough and I don't want to use Crazy Glue or CA.
The industry standard, from my experience, is PVA (polyvinyl acetate) glue (AKA "Elmer's glue" you are using) and its variations (like Titebond mostly used for wood). Yes, it takes time to glue the parts, this is why it is important to fix them by something but your hands and fingers! :D The thicker it is, the better. Once I bought an awesome "white glue", which I had to put twice: first to soak a piece of cardboard and create a film on its surface, and then for the second time to glue the parts together. CA will not fit if you need to glue together large details, it is good to pinpoint something. This is just my opinion, of course

Thanks, Boatman! I learned the hard way that one needs to wear latex or nitrile gloves when using CA glue. I've glued my fingers to a crucial wood part several times! Trying not to use CA unless the bond is out of sight on the build.
