Hello, I ask since it'd help in case I lost some parts for the canon and I want to show what they're like open and closed (I still intent to do the ornament on the hatches in milliput, I hope I can use other ships as inspiration for the first SR I plan to do).

Thanks for your answers, I may work on it soon given I actually finnished 4 kit this year (more than last year and I'm well on my way for a 5th, a revell Me P1099B 1/72 scale).

Do what makes you happy and shows what you want.

I did the cannons on my Bonhomme Richard cross section several different ways, to show how multiple ways cannons and ports could be rigged. Mostly so people would ask why? Then I can explain the various ways the cannons were stowed, rigged, reloaded and why. See below:

Have fun and do what is "right" for you!

Ok! I think I'll do mine partly open to show what it look like closed (and it's an advantage in case I lost some parts).

I agree with Brad above--do what makes sense. Also, I'd be interested to hear how you work with the milliput to make decorations. Do you have any photos?

Î haven't started with the milliput yet on the SR (I intend to use a ta 152 antenna base to practice). for the missing, I'll order if I can't find a substitute, the heller sav did worked for their P51.

Nicely

Very nicely done.ın what scale are the cannons and the ports

Thanks a lot for your respond Brad
Because of working place restrictions at home , I envy those who can work with 1:50 ,1:40 models. I work 1:100 scale and one is limited to show details by that scale. Attachment is part of the cannons (French version) of 1:100 scaled La Couronne's
