Carving a head of Mongoloid

I'm working on a "how too" on the Dutch forum, and when that's ready I wil post it here too.
And hoping that carvers like Ivan, Janos, Maarten and more share their experience in that thread to. All to get more people in carving. Because it's fun to do and I believe that everyone can learn it.
Very good idea

And yet again we see great work by the master. I know you showed (link) for the nail drill you use but like everything else I forgot it. Could you be kind enough to show again please. Cheers.

No problem
Rotary tool
Chuck
Extra handset
And the shop where I buy my cutters. Only the Tungsten steel in the blue boxes. They com with six in a package.
And the chisels I'm using, and reshape Link
You can give them a handle by yourself. Cheap and very good. If you sharpen them with a honywheel or leather strop they are perfect.

Thank you very much. That certainly was a super prompt reply. Ordered the rotary tool etc but a little confused as to which size chuck to purchase. It's quite entertaining changing everything from Dutch to English. Now I know TAAL is 'language ;) Once again great feedback and another little project for me to pursue when items arrive. (wife gonna zap me for sure) Stay safe and happy, Cheers.

which size chuck to purchase
That's easy to explain. The handpiece of the rotary tool is standard with a chuck for 2,35 drills.
You can change that chuck to 3 or 3,175 mm. But that is not easy and quick to do. So I have ordered 2 more handpieces and ordered also the extra chucks of 3 and 3,175 mm. Now I have 3 handpieces with 3 different chucks and I can use these for the most common measurements of small cutters.

Do this only if you have these cutters in you toolbox. If you don't have 3 mm. in your toolbox, don't buy it. The 3,175 mm. is handy, most small drill bits have this measurement even like 2,35 mm. The handpiece of the rotary set is identified with the number 202, if you need spare parts for it. Everything is available for it on AliExpress.

Thank you for the update. It'd be awesome if you lived next door, so much knowledge to pick up on and learn from plus you have a great sense of humour. Cheers.

I love it to share my knowledge and experience. I'm learn a lot of you guys also. I'm also glad that I don't live nextdoor to you, don't like the spiders in your country. seems there are big ones over there.

Spiders? No, Australia has the nasty spiders. In NZ the only spooky things we have are "Weta's" and humans .
