That is very ornate Knut.You know what I am thinking,loose the top and replace it with solid wood.An ideal base for a large display case containing a large model of a 17th Century vessel.The carvings would tie in with the period;)Before anyone chimes in,no it isn't big enough for Saint-PhilippeROTF

Nigel, thank you for your attention. These are some things I came across in my neighboring village Sandnes.
I am with you, this table could be a good starting point for exhibiting a pretty model.
