That is very ornate Knut.You know what I am thinking,loose the top and replace it with solid wood.An ideal base for a large display case containing a large model of a 17th Century vessel.The carvings would tie in with the periodBefore anyone chimes in,no it isn't big enough for Saint-Philippe

I am with you, this table could be a good starting point for exhibiting a pretty model.
