It's a beautiful museum. We intended to visit it 3 years ago. Unfortunately, since the INVASION of the Ukraine by Russia, it's been out of the question...

Russia did not close itself off from anyone. You can safely come and visit the museum. We need less politics because there is a lot of false propaganda in it. This doesn’t stop me from building models of French ships (also published by ANCRE).

Screw frigate "Светлана" 1858 ("Svetlana" - woman's name)
The ship began construction at the French shipyard Kredit Maritaime & Arscan seven months after the end of the Eastern War of 1853-1856, where France and Russia were enemies. (at the same time, in the same place, they began to build a yacht for the Russian emperor)
This is instructive for these days, before hate and “cancel culture.” Respect and peace must exist no matter what.
