Hi
My name is Bob I live in Illinois and am building a 1/4 scale 1949 Century Seamaid from print. The frame is coming along nicely. I am looking forward to being on this forum. My research has been dead ended at deck Hardware and name plates. Was wondering if anyone had some advice in this area.

New guy on the block. Should have introduced my self. I am not a pro builder. I am from the car racing community. And when I was younger I build some scale boats. Thought I would try one again.

Welcome aboard! What kinds of cars did you race? My admiral and I did sessions at Mt. Tremblant, getting in several hundred laps in Formula Fords, that turned out to be a thrill of a lifetime. Good times!!

also from my side a warm welcome here on board of our forum

We race Drag Racing we also run Midwest Pro Stock. I built this car from scratch it is a all fiberglass copy of a 1955 Chevy.

Cool never had a chance to try road coarse style racing. We have made tons of windows for road coarse style stuff.

That's a tough one, Bob. I had the same problem, then was extremly lucky to find a complete set of all the metal parts still in the original box on Ebay, but that was about 20+ years ago. Wishing you have some luck too!

One of my racing freinds sons is a student teacher in 3D printing is going to work with me on this problem. They have a 3D aluminum printer. Hoping for a good result if it works I will have a bunch made.

I raced NHRA Super Gas for years. You know Speed = Money so 9.90 was the fastest I could afford to go raising 4 kids. I miss it greatly. But I have found a new hobby, almost as great as racing. I had my C5 neck bone replaced. That ended my racing for good. Building wooden ships is a close second and at 74, what else can I ask for? Hahahah
